Skills for Life

Here at Woolston Scout Group, we believe in helping prepare young people for whatever their futures might hold by equipping them with skills for life. We encourage them to DO more, LEARN more and BE more.

Welcome to Woolston Scout Group

Each week we give our members the opportunity to participate in all manner of fun activities and adventures which help develop their skills for life.

What are those skills for life? Namely Teamwork, Leadership and Resilience – all fundamental skills which, over the years, have helped Scouts become everything from teachers to social workers and astronauts to olympians!

We currently have a Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and a Scout Troop. We also host Harrier Explorer Unit- a District section for ages 14-18.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
